Welcome to Hueco, an AI-powered photo restoration app designed to help you restore old, faded, or black-and-white photos to their vivid glory. By downloading, installing, or using Hueco, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this User Agreement. This Agreement governs your use of all features and services provided by the App, including but not limited to photo uploads, AI restoration, before-and-after comparison, and restored records management. If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement, please do not use the App.
It is critical to emphasize that Hueco does not collect any facial information or face data from you, under any circumstances. We never access, extract, store, or transmit any facial features, facial recognition data, or biometric information related to your face, regardless of how you use the App. When you upload photos containing human faces, take new photos within the App, or use the App’s restoration features, we do not process, analyze, or retain any facial information from those images. Your facial data remains entirely on your local device, and we have no mechanism or process in place to collect or use it. This commitment is integral to our privacy-focused design and applies to all aspects of your interaction with the App.
Hueco is designed to be fully accessible and usable without the need for you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal identification information. You can immediately access all of the App’s core features—including uploading photos from your device’s library, taking new photos within the App, using AI photo restoration, viewing before-and-after comparisons, saving restored images, and managing restored records—without entering an email address, password, or any other personal details. This means you can use the App freely, without any barriers related to account creation or authentication.
Since no account is required to use Hueco, we have no need to collect any personal information—including facial information—for account management, user verification, or any other purpose. We do not collect facial information to identify you, personalize your experience, or track your usage, because there are no accounts to link such data to. Even when you use the App’s full range of features, your facial data stays private on your device, and we never access, extract, or collect it. We will never require you to provide any facial information to use any part of the App.
Hueco’s primary purpose is to provide you with simple, efficient AI-powered photo restoration services. The key features of the App include: uploading photos from your device’s library or taking new photos within the App; restoring faded, black-and-white, or damaged photos to vivid, colorful versions using AI models; viewing a clear before-and-after comparison of the original and restored images; saving restored images to your device’s photo library; managing restored photos through a time-organized records screen; and deleting unwanted photos or records.
All of these features are designed to be user-friendly, with straightforward steps and clear progress feedback during the restoration process. You are free to use the App’s features as often as you like, for personal, non-commercial purposes, without any restrictions other than those outlined in this Agreement.
None of the App’s features involve collecting, processing, or storing any facial information. The AI models used for photo restoration focus solely on enhancing image quality, color, and clarity—they do not identify, extract, or retain any facial features from the photos you process. Whether you are restoring a photo of a person, a group, or any other subject, we do not collect any facial information from that image. The restoration process is entirely local to your device, so your facial data (if present in your photos) never leaves your device and is never accessed by us. We do not use facial recognition technology, and we never collect any data related to your face or the faces of others in your photos.
All data processed by Hueco is handled entirely locally on your device. This includes the photos you upload, the new photos you take within the App, the restored versions of those photos, and the records of your restored images. We do not transmit your data to any external servers, third-party services, or any other location. All AI-powered restoration, color enhancement, and image processing occurs directly on your device, ensuring that your data remains under your complete control at all times.
You have full authority to manage your data within the App: you can delete any uploaded photo, restored image, or record at any time, and such deletion is permanent—we do not retain any backups, copies, or residual data of the content you delete. You also have the right to save restored images to your device’s photo library, reupload different images, or stop using the App at any time, with no impact on your local data.
Because all data processing and storage are local to your device, we never have the opportunity to collect any facial information from your photos. Even during the restoration process, which is performed entirely on your device, we do not extract or analyze any facial features. Your facial data is never touched by the App, and it remains accessible only to you. When you delete a photo or record that contains facial information, that facial data is permanently removed from your device, and we have no way to recover or access it. Your control over your facial data is absolute, and we never interfere with that control.
The App itself, including all its code, AI models, features, design elements, logos, and text, is owned by Hueco and is protected by intellectual property laws. All intellectual property rights related to the App—including copyrights, trademarks, and proprietary technology—remain the exclusive property of Hueco. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You retain full ownership of all photos you upload to the App, including the original photos and the restored versions. Hueco does not claim any ownership rights to your photos or restored images—all rights to your content remain with you. You may use your restored images for any personal purpose, including sharing them with others, as long as you have the right to do so (i.e., you own the original photos or have permission from the copyright owner).
Our intellectual property rights do not include any collection or use of facial information. We do not claim any rights to your facial data, nor do we collect or store any facial information as part of our intellectual property or technology. The AI models we use do not retain or process facial information, and our intellectual property practices strictly prohibit the collection of any facial data. Your facial information is not part of any intellectual property associated with the App, and we never use facial data in any way related to our intellectual property.
While Hueco is designed to be flexible and easy to use, there are certain prohibited uses that you must adhere to when using the App, to ensure a safe and respectful experience for all users and to protect the App and its technology. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:
We strictly prohibit any use of the App that involves collecting, extracting, or using facial information, and we do not allow any third parties to use the App to collect facial data from you. You may not use the App to upload photos for the purpose of extracting facial information, nor may you attempt to use the App’s technology to collect or process facial data. Any attempt to use the App in a way that violates our policy of not collecting facial information will be considered a prohibited use, and we reserve the right to restrict your access to the App if such behavior is detected.
We may from time to time update the App to improve its performance, add new features, fix bugs, or enhance user experience. These updates may be automatic or may require you to download and install the latest version of the App. By continuing to use the App after an update, you agree to the updated version of this Agreement and any changes to the App’s features or functionality.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature of the App at any time, without prior notice, as long as such modifications do not reduce your privacy protections or start collecting information we previously did not collect. We will never modify the App to collect facial information, and any updates will continue to uphold our commitment to not collecting any facial data.
All updates to the App will maintain our strict policy of not collecting any facial information. We will never add any features or functionality that would allow the App to access, extract, store, or transmit facial information. Any updates to the App’s AI models or processing capabilities will not include any facial recognition or facial data collection features. We will never use updates to change our stance on facial information collection—our commitment to not collecting facial data is permanent and unchanging.
Hueco is provided “as is” and “as available,” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs, or that it will meet your specific needs. The quality of the restored photos may vary depending on the quality of the original photo, and we do not guarantee that the restored images will meet your expectations.
We are not responsible for any damage to your device, loss of data, or any other harm that may result from using the App, including but not limited to issues related to app crashes, device compatibility, or user error. You use the App at your own risk, and we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We do not warrant that facial information will be protected by any additional measures beyond our strict policy of not collecting it, because we never collect facial information in the first place. Since we do not access, store, or transmit any facial data, there is no risk of facial information being leaked, misused, or compromised through the App. Our disclaimer of warranties does not apply to facial information, as we have no interaction with such data—your facial privacy is guaranteed by our policy of not collecting it at all.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time, for any reason, by uninstalling the App from your device. Upon uninstallation, all local data related to the App (including restored records and saved images) will remain on your device, unless you choose to delete it separately.
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated any terms of this Agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, engaging in prohibited uses, uploading inappropriate content, or attempting to collect facial information through the App. Upon termination, you must stop using the App immediately.
Upon termination of your use of the App, we will not retain any of your data—including any facial information—because we never collected any in the first place. If you terminate use by uninstalling the App, all facial data present in your photos remains on your device, and we have no access to it. If we terminate your access due to a violation of this Agreement, we still do not have any facial information to retain or delete, as we never collected it. Termination of use does not affect your control over your facial data, which remains entirely on your device.
